The naturally renewable palm that grows in the tropical forest of Southeast Asia. Sustainable and harmless to our mother nature. Known for being durable, light, and flexible making it is the main material in producing combat sticks, wickerwork furniture, baskets, woven mats, and other handicrafts that last for years.

Ate' Grass

Sometimes called Ata grass, a kind of vine which is native to the volcanic foothills of the tropical islands in Southeast Asia. Ata flourish around water and it grows exponentially in remote places making it water resistant. In its natural state, it is also flexible and a lot stronger than rattan making it a popular material in producing different shapes of handcrafted bags.

Batik Cloth/Fabric

Term derived from the word “ambatik” which means “a dotted piece of cloth”. An ancient art form or technique in Indonesia made either by drawing dots and lines of the resist with a spouted tool (canting) into cloth. UNESCO recognized the batik as a masterpiece of oral and intangible heritage of humanity from Indonesia.


Batik fabric is a cotton cloth usually used to create richly colored quilts, apparel, home décor, and among others.
